About the Client
Partnered alongside NASA, ADPC, and USAID, Servir-Mekong is utlizing spatial technological advancements to raise awareness about development problems associated with climate change.
With the focus to help address enviromental challenges to those who need it, the company contacted Toneyes, a creative agency based in Bangkok, to create a graphic design for people to have a better understanding of the intention and the goal of their latest project, the Dancing Rivers.
The Project & Concept
Toneyes worked on a graphic design to visiually communicate Servir-Mekong's latest project called Dancing Rivers, that is the monitoring system of the flow of the Ayeyarwaddy River and its deposition and erosion of land during seasonal climate change. The company values the protection of the environment, as well as the people that inhabits the surrounding areas of the Ayeyarwaddy River.
The purpose of this project was to create a material, using the effective and creative way of graphic design, that would incorporate the heart behind the Dancing Rivers project and how the system is effectively helping the people of Myanmar. This was also made to be used to inform the government and national organizations, such as the DWRI, to have a better understanding on how to monitor course changes of the river.
The concept of this project was to have a material to hand out during environmental conferences that is visually pleasing and as well, very informative. With this in mind, Toneyes conceptualized a way to illustrate the features of the satellite and what it contributes to the community in the form of a flyer graphic design. The agency used digitized visuals that represented the rivers and used a variety of colorst that brought the colors of nature into the design.
